Dawu Farming and Stock Breeding Groups Led. lies in Xushui county
of Baoding city
in Hebei Province. It was founded in 1985. At that time, the
location was a stretch of orchard lying waste.There was a brick
kiln and tens of grave mounds in it. The village invited a hid
of 6 yuan for each mu field. In the case without people contracting
the fields, LiuHuiRu, who is the wife of the chairman of the
Board of Directors, contracted the wasted land. With start-up

industry, tourist industry and industry. The groups have seven
subsidiary companies under control. They are Dawu Breeding Fowl
Ltd. Dawu Feed Ltd, Dawu Agriculture Planting£¬Dawu Grape Wine
Ltd and Dawu High School. The Groups employs 1,600 staff. There
are 3,300 teachers and students in Dawu High School. The Groups
boasts fixed assets over 100,000,000 yuan and the value of out
put every year is over 100,000,000 yuan. In 1995, the Groups
was appraised as one of the 500 biggest private companies in
china by Administrative Bureau for Industry and Commerce. In
1996, it was appraised as a key enterprise by government of
Hebei province.In the same year, the provincial Government awarded
¡®the best skilled person for raising birds' to sundawu, the
chairman of the board of directors. In 2004, the Groups won
one honorable title, "one of the First Hundred enterprises
in china"(the 74th).
¡¡Since the Groups is founded, it has increased sci-tech input
step by step. Inviting talented people from outer world and
training technical backbones in the Groups is the way that the
Groups uses. At the beginning, the company selected trainees
and sent them to shijia zhuang Feed Research Institute to study
feed productive technology, to Hebei Institute of Animal Veterinary
Sciences to study dissecting and testing technology about fowls
and livestock. The trainees also were sent to Hebei Agricultural
University and China Agricultural university to learn breeding
technology about fowl. At the beginning, the company organized
the major cadres of the company to attend training class for
public relations, which was held by the philosophy department
of Hebei University. And the company organized this activities
many times. The Groups has recruited talent from colleges and
universities since 1992. Now 160 graduates have worked here.
